    -1 rep, Main reasons: 1.) You don't fallow the rules. (How can we expect you to in force rules you cant even fallow?) (Recent punishments) (20-ish gags/mutes) 2.) You go around servers asking for +reps (Does not look good on you, more-less mature) 3.) You are overall nice, but you can go overboard sometimes and mic spam and or be toxic on the server.

    This is a tough decision because Pump you have given me no problems and have been a decent community member. On the other hand alts are normally not allowed but this might be a special circumstance. I will unban you for now but you will be on a short leash based on your history. I hope this clears it all up.

    Hey guys, A lot of people have been asking about new maps for our BR server and as much as I want to make more, they are extremely time-consuming to work on and I have 8 servers to manage. If you'd like to create one yourself, I've made the process extremely easy by open-sourcing a bunch of my work for you guys to use and created a guide about how to use this information. Step 1: The Assets NightFall's PUBG map uses numerous custom textures and props that you'll have to download so that they load into your level. Unfortunately for you, I keep my assets relatively combined so you'll basically have to download all the files I use rather than just ones that are relevant to the BR map, unless you want to go hunting through file paths. The thing is, since there's a whole lot of crap in there, you'll have to ask me personally for a download link to get this stuff. (It's around 800MB) Step 2: The Template This is where shit gets juicy. I have made two templates that you can use to build your map. Land body surrounded by mountains with a creek/river running through (can be used for Plains/Forest/Snowy/Desert environments) Picture: Picture: Archipelago of islands surrounded entirely by water with a significant amount running through as well (can be used for Tropical/Jungle environments) Picture: Again, if you're interested in taking on this project, please contact me directly for a template. Step 3: The Map There are a few factors to consider when you're working on the map. You should AVOID changing the size of the map at all costs. You should AVOID changing the base displacements and features of the map, although some can certainly be re-worked. You should AVOID fucking around with any skyboxes and outer edges of the map (exception is the waiting room, feel free to adjust that however you like). You should AVOID going over the top with particle effects and environments, or people will not be able to run the map well. You should AVOID worrying about lighting, on a map like this it causes FPS issues and you're bound to run into problems. The map will be run with mat_fullbright 1 on the server. Because this is a template, it's designed to be used a certain way. NightFall's Battle Royale Plugin will only function properly if you follow these guidelines. Past that, the world is your oyster. Feel free to texture it however you'd like, add some more of your own, add buildings, use building/prop templates provided, etc. Make sure to add good looting locations as that is the key to a fun Battle Royale Map. Any questions? Please contact me on Steam and comment that you're asking about Battle Royale mapping. Step 4: Getting your map on the server Once you feel like your map is done, make sure to use VIDE to package in all the materials. You can ask me how to do this if you don't know, but honestly, you should already if you're taking on a project as huge is this. I will do a quality check of the map and adjust anything I feel like adjusting. Remember your maps are subject to change and not protected by any intellectual property rights whatsoever. AKA once you submit we will thank you and make sure everyone knows you made the map, but you can't really tell us what to and what not to edit. Don't worry, though, we'll likely consult you with the majority of any changes made. I'll also add a radar and any other features that are needed to make the map work on our server, and I'll bzip2 it and upload it. Good luck!

    Hey guys, here's a guide made by Panda from a while back so all credit goes to him for this, but I figured I'd share it with you all. If you are interested in learning to write plugins for the NightFall servers, here's a set of resources to help get you on your feet. 1) What is SourceMod? What are SourceMod plugins? https://www.sourcemod.net/about.php https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Introduction_to_sourcemod_plugins 2) SourcePawn editors [SP] means they are specifically for SourcePawn, and [G] means general purpose. SPEdit [SP] https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=259917 <-- cra88y + Elmo's recommendation! Pawn Studio [SP] https://sourceforge.net/projects/pawnstudio/ Sublime Text [G] https://www.sublimetext.com/ Notepad++ [G] https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ <-- If you're interested in development you should really have this regardless. No general purpose editor [G] supports SourceMod compilation. If you want to edit with a general editor, to compile go to /csgo/addons/sourcemod/scripting and drag and drop your script on the spcomp.exe file. This will require a local SourceMod installation. 3) The most important resource is the SourceMod API. Here you can query keywords to find functions and variables that will help you perform a given task. For example, suppose you are interested in knowing if a user is on T or CT. Search "team" and click on the GetClientTeam function to read the documentation, which describes what the function does and what parameters it receives. Also added another link to all the events you can hook in CS:GO. [API] https://sm.alliedmods.net/new-api/ [Events] https://wiki.alliedmods.net/Counter-Strike:_Global_Offensive_Events 4) Learning strategies 1. Here is a host of SourceMod plugins that were kindly uploaded by their creators. Download the plugin source (.sp) and study how it works, make modifications, etc. This is the way I recommend learning the language. https://www.sourcemod.net/plugins.php 2. A great 40 video YouTube tutorial series for you visual learners. Covers everything you need to start writing plugins. Keep in mind all the code from these videos this is written in old syntax so you'll have to learn about the new, transitional syntax here: https://wiki.alliedmods.net/SourcePawn_Transitional_Syntax 5) Human resources! If you are completely stuck, eyes are bleeding from reading over the documentation so many times, web searches not turning up any fruitful results, then feel free to contact a coder on Steam/Discord. cra88y or if you're desperate... GrizzlayBear Darth Elmo Happy Coding!

    +1. Yeah, you don't stand out that well among others, but honestly you are super chill and can handle yourself. You don't freak out when a situation is thrown at you which is something I like about you. I think you would be a good mod and would take care of situation nice and calm, but still effective. ur shit at fortnite. who said this? Good Luck m8.

    Pros: - Decently active - Has never broken a rule, from what ive seen (except that one time, but he was given a second chance) Cons: - Now, let me explain, jeremy is a decently active member, and a good member at that, but he doesnt stand out at all, he isn't a person i'd look at and i'd say he would make a staff. Anytime i look at jeremy i just think he is a good NF member, he lives up to the expectations in what we look for in a good member. - have only heard him use his mic 2-3 times. - Only seen him interact with his friends, haven't seen him helping any new members or helping anyone with commands when they asked. Conclusion: now i think if you could improve on those points above you'd make a good staff next month. Im going to give this application a -1 @ionCho0de.@Lil Husky leave MY style alone ok?;-;

    -1. I think that this statement sums up that you don't even have the intelligence to realize that banning isn't even within a mod's permissions. Not even to mention you are disrespectful and rude as said above.^

    I had about a good 2-5 hours of total playtime on NF. I got some real life things that have taken my interest away from CS and the internet as a whole. So, here is my goodbye. Hope that NF keeps growing and it will be cool to see where it is in the futray.

    I have had zero problems with ^^^^ and I he is a actual nice person who dosnt ever do anything wrong that I know of I hope that we can have some solution because I dont want a good player getting banned because of some stupid reason.

    Denied. ion caught you in a lie and then you said you "deleted" an account? you can't delete a steam account. that's two inconsistencies in one app, plus you're not active/known enough yet anyway.

    -1 - Sorry, but I never see you on Casual/Retro and I am active, ask around. - Your application doesn't seem to have much effort in it - I've never seen you on the discord nor the forums, except for this one - That quote, have you seen admins who abuse? If so, please list them Any other aliases?

    Team Name: Kron & Friends Team Leader (Member #1): Kron Team Members: None - I have no friends. Special Requests (if any): Push It To The Limit by Paul Engemann (https://youtu.be/BhsTmiK7Q2M) must be blasting in the server during the entire duration of the game.

    You definitely got banned for alting, which is permanent, in all the cases I know of. I don't know how much time he gave before you got banned. But this is a rule to make it easier for admins to get rid of hackers, people being banned on their mains etc. Also I suspect it'll be easier to help you if you made your profile public. Because right now it looks sketchy as hell. If you love the server you should be aware of the basic rules.

    Well its not a big deal for a manager that dosnt play on casual
  24. 1 point
    Agreed 100%. You can't expect to just dip and be brought right back up to your previous, high-level position. This is a trust issue now, and you're going to have to show us that we can rely on you.
  25. 1 point
    I mean, I would consider this toxicity, but it's not anything too big especially if the player that got called out wasn't mad. However if he was than he probably would've asked for Drillie to be punished. Overall not too big of a deal.
